1Z Newsletter 1/31
Happy Friday 1Z Families! First graders started jotting down wonders and things they noticed in reading, and they began writing book reviews this week!
3 Things We Talked About:
1) Kind ways to communicate with classmates
2) Halves vs. quarters/fourths in circles, squares and rectangles
3) Ways to convince your reader in a book review
2 Things to Ask Your Child This Weekend:
1) What was it like in the planetarium? Could you see in total darkness?
2) Would you prefer 1/4 or a 1/2 of something - a brownie, pizza, etc.
1 Thing To Remember:
1) Report cards are going home today in purple folders, so please be on the lookout. If you have any questions regarding your child's report card please reach out to me and we can find a time to connect.
Have a wonderful weekend!
