1Z Newsletter 1/10
Happy Friday 1Z Families! First graders had fun filled and hard working first full week of 2020. Hope you enjoy the nice weather this weekend!
3 Things We Talked About:
1) What nonfiction readers do
2) Measuring accurately
3) Different types of neighborhoods
2 Things to Ask Your Child This Weekend:
1) What type of neighborhood is Wellesley and how do you know?
2) What have you written reviews about?
2 Things To Remember:
1) We did reading assessments for the entire first grade today and 1Z students are making great progress! Please remember, as your first grader brings home different books each night, that these books are at their independent reading level and should be read with high accuracy and comprehension.
2) I will be sending home field trip permission slips and a notice about Valentine's Day next week so please be on the lookout.
Have a wonderful weekend!
